A cold cloth applied to the forehead and neck is a great way to help keep your loved one comfortable.

- Clean washcloth and small towel
- Bowl of cool water. Add ice cubes if needed.
- You can also use an ice pack for this.
- Never leave an ice pack on for more than 20 minutes at a time.

How to Apply Cold Compress
- Choose either the ice pack or a cool, damp cloth.
- If using a cloth, dip it in cool water and wring out excess.
- If using an ice pack wrap it in a thin towel
- Gently place on the forehead or back of the neck.
- Leave for 10-15 minutes, refreshing the cloth as needed.
