Help the Care Team Get to Know your Loved One
Share stories about who they are with nurses and doctors – their hobbies, sense of humor, or what matters to them. Consider making a posterboard with photos and information about your loved one’s life to display in their room.
Make a poster with information about who the patient is as a person – favorite music, sports teams, hobbies, glasses/hearing aids needed, and photos showing them healthy. This helps medical staff see them as a whole person and provides important practical information.
